Prof. Xueyang Zhang
Prof. Xueyang Zhang is a Professor, Master's Supervisor, and Vice Dean at Xuzhou University of Technology, China. He received his Ph.D. from Shandong University in 2012 and was a visiting scholar at the University of Florida from 2016 to 2017. Since 2023, he has served as an Associate Editor of the SCI-indexed journal Water, Air, & Soil Pollution. He has led research projects funded by the Jiangsu Province Natural Science Foundation and major natural science research programs of Jiangsu universities. He has published more than 60 papers, including one ESI Hot Paper and six highly cited papers, and holds eight granted invention patents. His honors include a Third Prize for Science and Technology Progress from the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, as well as Second and Third Prizes for Science and Technology from the China General Chamber of Commerce. His research focuses on pollutant adsorption, carbon-based environmental functional materials, carbon capture, and gaseous pollutant control. Prof. Zhang is one of my academic advisors and has continuously guided my academic development, including my research on Pebax-1657 mixed-matrix membranes, biochar-based fillers, and CO2 separation, particularly in selecting and modifying carbon-based fillers, designing membrane experiments, evaluating CO2 permeability and CO2/N2 selectivity, and relating material structure to separation performance.

Prof. Bin Gao
Prof. Bin Gao is the Kodak Chair Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an AAAS Fellow and SSSA Fellow. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University and his M.S. and B.S. degrees in Chemistry from Nanjing University. He previously served as a professor at the University of Florida. His research focuses on biochar technology, environmental nanotechnology, contaminant fate and transport, emerging contaminants, and porous media. He has authored 286 publications. His work has received 77,093 citations on Google Scholar, and his h-index is 136. His honors include the NSF CAREER Award and recognition as a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher. His editorial service includes serving as an Editor of Chemical Engineering Journal (impact factor 12.5), an Editorial Board Member of Journal of Hazardous Materials (impact factor 10.6), and Editor-in-Chief of Environmental Nanotechnology, Monitoring & Management and Water, Air, & Soil Pollution. He is also an Editorial Board Member of Environmental Pollution and an Editor of Biochar. Prof. Gao is one of my academic advisors and has continuously guided my academic development, including my research on biochar-based Pebax-1657 membranes and CO2 capture.

Dr. Zijing San
Dr. Zijing San, Ph.D., is one of my undergraduate thesis advisors in the School of Physics and New Energy at Xuzhou University of Technology, China. Dr. San is a Jiangsu Province Dual-Innovation Doctor and a visiting scholar at North Carolina State University. He received academic training under Professor Rui Zhang at Harbin Institute of Technology. He has undertaken three provincial- or municipal-level research projects and two industry-sponsored projects, and has published more than 10 papers. He also collaborates with me on battery aging prediction and intelligent battery-system modeling.

Dr. Zhongyuan Yuan
Dr. Zhongyuan Yuan, Ph.D., is one of my undergraduate thesis advisors in the School of Physics and New Energy at Xuzhou University of Technology, China. Dr. Yuan serves as a Science and Technology Vice President under a Jiangsu Province program, is a visiting scholar at North Carolina State University, and is a Technical Advisor to the Jiangsu Acoustic Industry Technology Innovation Center. He received academic training under Professor Rui Zhang at Harbin Institute of Technology. He has undertaken three provincial- or municipal-level research projects and three industry-sponsored projects, and has published more than 10 papers. He also collaborates with me on battery aging prediction and intelligent battery-system modeling.

Prof. Linghai Xie
Prof. Linghai Xie is a Second-Level Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Director of the Institute of Optoelectronic Materials at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. He is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scientists, State Council Government Special Allowance, and Ministry of Education New Century Excellent Talent recognition, and a National-level candidate in the Hundred-Thousand-Ten-Thousand Talent Project. His research focuses on organic nanopolymers, organic polymer semiconductors, optoelectronic materials, and organic memory and memristor technologies. He has published more than 190 SCI-indexed papers, received more than 2,000 citations, holds 26 granted Chinese invention patents, and received the Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award. Prof. Xie serves as an external collaborating supervisor for my academic development.
